Karen Davies

I originally joined the School of Education in 1993 in an administrative capacity supporting the Head of Education to prepare for an Ofsted inspection. In 1999 I was appointed to a duel role of mentor training administrator, working within the Work Based Learning unit and finance officer for the School of Education.

In 2002 I completed my law degree and went on to further study. I successfully completed my postgraduate Diploma in Legal Practice Certificate (LPC) in September 2005. In 2005 I was appointed to my current role as Faculty Admin Co-ordinator. Working across all five centres I am responsible for the co-ordination, management and development of administrative processes relating to the life cycle of students from application to graduation.

I am responsible for co-ordinating the academic timetable. I also deal with issues relating to the Teacher Development Agency such as the annual student Census and the monitoring of TDA Performance Profiles data.

I am a member of the following Faculty committees:

  • Faculty Quality Committee
  • Learning at Work
  • Faculty Management Team
  • OSS User Group
