Directions to the Faculty of Health and Applied Social Sciences
Most buses stop at Queen Square bus station. From there walk straight up Crosshall Street and turn Right at the top onto Dale Street. Take the next left onto Hatton Garden. The Faculty is based within a large circular building at the end of Hatton Garden on the corner of Tithebarn Street and Vauxhall Road.
Follow the signs for the Birkenhead (Queensway) Tunnel in the city centre (not the Wallasey Tunnel - Kingsway). At the Tunnel roundabout, leave at the third exit turning left onto Dale Street (immediately after tunnel entrance), continue along Dale Street and turn right at Hatton Garden. The Faculty is at the top of this road (see above). There are a number of car parks to the left of the building, off Tithebarn Street and straight on along Vauxhall road.
...by local rail
Tithebarn Street is a few minutes walk from Moorfields Train Station. From the station turn right onto Tithebarn Street and continue until you reach the junction with Hatton Garden and Vauxhall Road. The Faculty is at the top of this road (see above).
...by national rail
We are five minutes walk from Lime Street Station. Exit the station at Lord Nelson Street and continue left onto Lime Street. Cross the road opposite St Georges Hall and walk diagonally to the far corner of the Hall and onto William Brown Street. Walk to the bottom of William Brown Street in the direction of the Tunnel Entrance, cross the pedestrian crossing over a dual carriageway and walk along the road to the right of a flyover. Turn Right onto Hatton Garden. The Faculty is at the top of this road (see above).
Exit the coach station onto Norton Street, turning right and heading for London Road. Take a right onto London Road, and continue to the pedestrian crossing on the opposite corner to the Empire Theatre. The road immediately ahead is William Brown Street. Follow the instructions from 'National Rail' to continue.
