Biography:

Registered nurse with a range of clinical experience from General medicine and surgery to Intensive Care and High Dependency Nursing.

Joined LJMU in 2004 following the completion of MA Medical Law and Ethics at Keele University.
Programme leader for the BA (Adult) Nursing, Cohort Leader for the BA and Module leader on the BA, Diploma, Foundation Degree and Masters Programme within the Faculty of Health.

Member of Northwest BACCN Committee.
Fellow of the Higher Education Academy.

Teaching Interests:

Medical Law and Ethics- in particular accountability and Fitness to Practice Issues.
Legal Aspects to Non-Medical Prescribing
Complexity of Care and Assessing the Critically ill patient.
