Biography:

Having qualified as a Registered nurse in 1983 I specialised in surgical nursing, urology and ophthalmology before developing my career in Nurse Education. The major focus of my experience has been co-ordinating and managing pre-registration programmes in adult nursing.

Throughout my career I have developed management expertise through an MBA programme which I developed through leadership and organisational management modules in health care programmes.

More recently I have been appointed as Head of Practitioner Capability and Skills Development. This role will focus on post registration capability developments, although will overarch all programmes as skills escalator.
