RAE 2008
The forthcoming Research Assessment Exercise is a national benchmarking exercise to assess the quality of UK research in higher edcucation institutions and to inform the selective distribution of public funds for research.
The LJMU submission to RAE2008 will include evidence of research activity from a number of health-related disciplines, academic departments and Research Institutes from across the university, including:

- Psychology
- Biomolecular Sciences
- Research Institute for Sport & Exercise Sciences
- the Centre for Public Health
- Nursing & Primary Care Practice
- Applied Social & Community Studies
- the Faculty of Education Community & Leisure
- Computing & Mathematical Sciences
