With LJMU having the oldest Pharmacy course in Britain, Liverpool was my perfect destination – combining a friendly community atmosphere with a strong tradition in my chosen subject.  Plus, the city is home to my beloved Liverpool Football Club.

My course has been everything I hoped for and more.  From all the assistance and advice before I applied to the support I received from my personal tutor once I arrived, I have been given everything I have needed to help me settle in and do well in my studies.  My lectures are great too – more amusing and entertaining than I ever imagined Pharmacy would be!

The learning and library facilities are second to none.  There is every book a student could possibly need, countless computers, incredibly helpful staff and the learning resource centres (LRC’s) are open 24 hours a day.

It has been easy making friends and settling into life in Liverpool. Liverpool is a very lively city.  Whether it is clubbing in Society or Medication, dining in one of the cities great restaurants, having a ‘pint’, paintballing or even doing university assignments, there is always something to do. I would definitely encourage anyone to study at LJMU.  The support, facilities and teaching are excellent; the city has a lively, cosmopolitan atmosphere and is steeped in culture and history; and the people here are truly warm and friendly.
