Research at Liverpool Business School - Doctorate of Business Administration

The Liverpool Business School Doctorate of Business Administration (DBA) programme is designed to validate the competence in professional practice of people working in business and management related areas at the highest academic level. The DBA is a 3 year programme which involves 4 x 5 day residential workshops held in Liverpool. In addition to the workshops, there are several action learning set meetings which can take place physically or virtually, affording participants a supportive and collaborative environments in which to learn. Liverpool John Moores University has experience of supervising a broad range of areas of study within the Business and Management arena.

Entry Requirements and Application:
Candidates should be well qualified in their chosen field and possess a related Masters degree (e.g. MBA) or equivalent qualification supplemented with sufficient recent business and management experience appropriate to the research being undertaken. International students need to have an IELTS score of 6.5 with a minimum of 5.5 in each of the categories. The admission process requires an initial proposal of 1500 words together with completion of the on-line application

Fees for 2011-2012
Home/EU students: £7,830 p.a
International students: £11,250 p.a.
Note : students from the Isle of Man or the Channel Islands will pay the same fees as International students.
