Prior to teaching at the Screen School I was involved in new media production working as a mediaproducer developing a range of commercial disc and web related content for a variety of commercial and public sector bodies including health and education. I also commissioned and coordinated a range of practice based research projects, exploring public access and the expansion of new media opportunities.

Research

My current research interests continue with the notion of social inclusion and explore the expansion of media archive and numerous heritage resources for multi platform delivery. I am also particularly interested in relationships with urban landscapes and how place and the representation through location-based services might encourage the mediation of memories and help foster a sense of belonging.
