Elementary First Aid
This MCA approved course meets the mandatory requirements laid down in STCW95 A-VI/4-1. The course covers the basic principles of first aid, first response treatment of a casualty and basic life support.
It is a stand alone course as well as a component of the Basic Safety Training course.
Duration: 1 day
Standard: STCW95 A-VI/1; IMO 1.13
Entry requirements: Candidates must be 16 or more years of age
Issue of certificate:
- Delegates are assessed during practical Exercises and via a Multiple Choice Examination Paper
