Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention

The course provides training in Fire Fighting and Fire Prevention and is mandatory for all seafaring personnel. The course covers the correct use of fire fighting equipment, the different types of fires and corresponding fire fighting techniques. The course is a component of the Basic Safety Training.

Standard: STCW95 A-VI/1; IMO 1.20

Entry requirements: There are no entry requirements

Issue of certicate: Delegates are continually assessed throughout the course.
