Changes to retirement age

The 2012 UK Research Office (UKRO) Information Seminar will take place on the morning of Wednesday 24 October at LJMU.

This half-day event will be held in the James Parsons Building with Ed Ricketts from UKRO as facilitator .

The seminar will be split into four areas in order for attendees to pick and choose which session(s) they would like to attend. Sessions include:

  • Final calls/deadlines for the Seventh Framework Programme (FP7)
  • The new Horizon 2020 (Framework) programme for 2014-20
  • Erasmus for All (previously Lifelong Learning Programme) 2014-20
  • Financial and administrative procedures for the above programmes.

The main target audience for this event will be research staff; however the event is also open to administration staff dealing with finance, contracts and grant agreements plus anyone wanting to know more about the above programmes.

In addition to the morning seminar, Ed will be attending the first Research Cafe event on the afternoon of 24 October at 2.30pm, where he will offer advice and discuss elements of the above funding programmes with colleagues. This event takes place at the Aldham Robarts Learning Resource Centre in Seminar Room 1.
