LJMU Lecturers present at Museum of Liverpool

To commemorate the 70th anniversary of the death of stonemason, poet and socialist visionary Fred Bower, Museum of Liverpool is holding an afternoon of events on Thursday 31 May 2012.

Learn about some of the unsung socialist pioneers featured in the Museum of Liverpool in a 20 minute on-gallery talk 'Voices in the Wilderness'. Meet Bill Longshaw Curator of Community History at the information desk in the atrium at 2.00pm.

Find out about the extraordinary life of Fred Bower in a 45 minute talk with Ron Noon and Professor Sam Davies from Liverpool John Moores University. Meet in Education area 3 on level 1 at 3.00pm.
