IM Marsh celebrates history and contribution to HE

All staff and students are invited to attend an event looking back at a centenary of achievements at IM Marsh.

IM Marsh: A Celebration of Achievements Since 1900, will focus on the history of the IM Marsh Campus and the outstanding contribution that it has made in Higher Education.

Patricia Shenton OBE, LJMU Emeritus Professor, will deliver a lecture with the support of Professor Sheila Wigmore FRSA followed by a Q&A. There will be a chance to network with other attendees both before and after the lecture.

Date:  Thursday 21 June
Venue: IM Marsh Campus, Barkhill Road, Aigburth, Liverpool, L17 6BD
Time:  4.30-6.30pm
Cost:  Free
Who:  Open to students, staff. alumni and any interested parties from the local community

"Since 1900 and despite being involved in a number of re-organisations and amalgamations due to the political and social situations of the day, IM Marsh, as an organisation, has become synonymous with the unique role that is has played in leading nationally on the education and training of physical education teachers. IM Marsh: A Celebration of Achievements Since 1900, highlights and celebrates a number of those key achievements and its impact on the local and national community during its significant history."
