Liverpool Pride: 4 August 2012

18 July 2012

Whether you’re gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender or straight, why not get involved and join LJMU staff and students in the official Liverpool Pride March?

Liverpool Pride, the city's annual celebration of LGBT life and culture, takes place on Saturday 4 August, with events across the city centre. As in previous years, the LJMU LGBT staff network will be wearing our 'Out and Proud with LJMU' t-shirts to represent the University during the event, having fun and raising awareness of the University's commitment to equality and diversity and tackling homophobia.

In previous years, staff and students have been joined by friends, family (and pets!) for the March. This year, we will be joining with other LGBT staff and student networks and marching with the newly-formed Merseyside LGBT Student Network .
