Exceptional receptionists receive SEDA Developing Professional Practice Awards
18 September 2012
LJMU Vice-Chancellor Professor Nigel Weatherill proudly presented the externally recognised SEDA Developing Professional Practice Awards to a team of receptionists.
This bespoke professional development practice programme, provided by AEU's Staff Development Team commenced in September 2011.
The key purpose of the programme was to ensure consistency of best practice in customer service to support and enhance our 'Student Experience' at LJMU across all sites.
It was acknowledged that the Receptionists had worked hard and are to be much congratulated, on achieving their individual awards. Great feedback has been received from students, clients and staff about the professionalism of the Receptionist Team. Their success has contributed to them being involved in several new projects, including supporting some of the areas in which they are located.
