First Mature Students Network Event – 20 September, 5-7pm, Drift Cafe, Liverpool Students' Union, The Haigh Building

Would you like to meet other mature students? LiverpoolSU's Mature Students' Network first event of the year is on Thursday 20 October. Join us for an informal evening with coffee, cake, wine, and conversation, and to find out more about the support we offer and how to get involved. In the past we’ve lobbied the university to change policies on children in libraries, run regular socials, meals out and a fitness club, provided study support and revision groups and helped mature students settle into student life.
Partners and children are welcome. We look forward to meeting you on Thursday!

First LGBT Society Event – 20 September, 6.30pm till late, Engine Room, Liverpool Students' Union , the Haigh Building then on to Liverpool's Gay Quarter.
Join us for our first social of the year. The society is for anybody who identifies as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual or Transgender or anybody wanting to support LGBT issues. Members will be invited to regular social events, have the opportunity to meet like-minded people, and will have access to resources offering support and advice.  Anyone is welcome, regardless of ‘out’ status and sexuality.  We look forward to meeting you on Thursday.

First International Students Network Event – 21 September – 5-7pm Large Committee Room, Liverpool Students' Union
Whether you're an international student whose just arrived, a returning international student who can show others the ropes, or you'd just like to meet students from all over the world, join us for an informal evening with coffee, cake and conversation, and to find out more about how you can get involved. In the past we’ve held everything from regular coffee mornings and study support events, to trips around the UK, language exchange conversation events, and full blown fiestas. We’re here to help international students settle into student life in Liverpool and look forward to meeting you on Friday.

First Home Students Network Event – 24 September – 5-7pm Drift Cafe, Liverpool Students' Union, The Haigh Building
If you're originally from Merseyside, haven’t moved away from home to come to University and are proud to be a Scouser/Liverpudlian, then this is the network for you. We’ll help you meet other students balancing home life, commuting and student life, and make sure you have just as much fun. Whether you want to join in our campaign to improve transport for students, meet potential future house or flatmates, find out what's on at the Students' Union or just catch up on the footie come along to our network event and kickstart your student life.

First Black Students Network Event – 27 September – 5-7pm Drift cafe, Liverpool Students Union, The Haigh Building
New this year this network brings together African, Arab, Asian and Caribbean students. Whether its holding cultural events, campaigning against racism and inequality, planning LiverpoolSU's Black History Month, supporting NUS Black Students Campaigns or just attending regular socials this network will do it all. Come along to our first event to find out more and help shape our activity for the future.
