Jayne Brown arranges pre-retirement courses throughout the year aimed at increasing staff knowledge on the issues sourrounding retirement and pension benefits.
Pre-retirement Courses
1 day course
These courses are held four times a year and are for staff approaching retirement. Specialist speakers make presentations on your Occupational Pension Scheme; the State Pension and other benefits; attitudes to retirement; tax and investments and leisure and learning opportunities. Staff are encouraged to attend the course at least 3-5 years before retirement.

One to One Pension Sessions
These sessions are an opportunity to discuss any queries you may have regarding any aspect of either of the pension schemes supported by the University; The Teachers Pension Scheme or The Local Government Pension Scheme.
