Guidelines for LJMU Committees
The University's committee structure was reviewed and revised during 2002-3. The new structure took effect from 1 August, 2003 and is now the responsibility of Alison Wild, University Secretary and Deputy Chief Executive.
A Code of Practice for Committee Chairs and Secretaries was developed in 2002 by a working group including representation from all major committees. This was updated in 2007 and appears as a revised set of guidelines on these webpages. Further training can be organised by the Centre for Staff Development.
