LJMU student shortlisted for Shell LiveWIRE grand ideas award

Piers Ebdon, a final year student in Energy Management and Sustainability at LJMU, has been shortlisted for the Shell LiveWIRE grand ideas awards.

Image of LJMU student Piers EbdonStudent entrepreneur Piers has been developing his innovative business idea, a five-a-side football centre with four artificial pitches on top of Mount Pleasant car park in Liverpool city centre, with support from LJMU's Centre for Entrepreneurship.

The Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Awards are awarded on a monthly basis with 4 prizes of £1,000 for the most innovative ideas submitted by new businesses in their first 12 months of trading.

Piers is looking for as many people as possible to vote in support of his idea. There is just two weeks to get as many votes as possible.
