Piers Ebdon, a final year student in Energy Management and Sustainability at LJMU, has been shortlisted for the Shell LiveWIRE grand ideas awards.
Student entrepreneur Piers has been developing his innovative business idea, a five-a-side football centre with four artificial pitches on top of Mount Pleasant car park in Liverpool city centre, with support from LJMU's Centre for Entrepreneurship.
The Shell LiveWIRE Grand Ideas Awards are awarded on a monthly basis with 4 prizes of £1,000 for the most innovative ideas submitted by new businesses in their first 12 months of trading.
Piers is looking for as many people as possible to vote in support of his idea. There is just two weeks to get as many votes as possible.
You can view Pier's online pitch and vote at: http://www.shell-livewire.org/awards/grand-ideas-awards
"I am delighted to be shortlisted for this competition. Please vote for me to support my vision to make playing team sports as convenient and accessible as going to the gym in the inner city area."
