It is with the deepest regret that we announce the death of Richmal Lee-Smith.

Richmal, who worked as a technician at LJMU from 1996 - 2004, was the daughter of Roy Lee who was the TV Studio Manager here for many years.

Richmal passed away on Wednesday 24 June after a two year battle with illness.

Our thoughts are with her family and friends at this sad time.
