The Hillsborough Trust Fund

The Hillsborough Trust Fund is intended to assist both full and part-time students who consider themselves to be disadvantaged. The definition of disadvantaged is left to the individual to demonstrate based on their circumstances. 

To qualify: 

• Students must have been resident within the Merseyside boundaries for a minimum of 2 years prior to the start of your course.
• Only one application will be allowed for each academic year.
• The maximum amount that will be allocated in any given academic year will, normally be £250. JMU reserves the right to request repayment of any allocations should a student subsequently withdraw from the University.

Application forms are available from student advice (email: studentadvice@ljmu.ac.uk). Deadline for applications to be returned Friday 25 February 2011.
