LJMU getting greener
03 February 2011
LJMU managed to save 1,211 trees as a result of its contract with Shred-it for confidential recycling during the past year.
This figure is the total number of trees saved by recycling the paper, but there are other ways that staff and students may recycle unwanted items - small numbers of DVDs and CDs may be placed in the shredding consoles located in and around university buildings. For larger numbers or general recycling enquires please contact Alun Thomas, Recycling Manager on 231 5731 or email a.thomas@ljmu.ac.uk
