Thanksgiving Service for Grace Sheppard

LJMU staff are invited to attend a Thanksgiving Service for Grace Sheppard, the wife of former Bishop of Liverpool and LJMU Honorary Fellow, the Right Reverend Lord David Sheppard. The service will take place at Liverpool Cathedral on 7th May 2011 at 12 noon

The theme of the service is 'Called to be Friends' and is inspired by Grace's writings and favourite music. It will feature Liverpool Cathedral Choir, Love & Joy Gospel Choir and personal reflections from Archbishop Emeritus Desmond Tutu, Frank Field MP, Jenny Sinclair and Roger Phillips, and contributions by other friends of Grace. 

No tickets are required and seating is on a first come first served basis from 11am. Free, non-ticketed seating will be available for the general public in the Central Space and the Nave of the Cathedral, with reserved seating in the front sections for family, close friends, invited guests and colleagues.
