Free Employability Workshops for unemployed graduates

LJMU's Graduate Development Centre (GDC) has two great options for recent graduates looking to enhance their employability skills.

Delivered as a series of workshops over the course of a week, the aim of the Graduate Accelerator Programme is to provide unemployed graduates with a structured, focussed, empowering programme of activities designed to optimise their employability, essential in the current climate where more graduates are competing for fewer vacancies. Workshops include; writing a winning CV, preparing for interviews, presentation skills, networking and much more.

Location: Graduate Development Centre, Hatton Garden, Liverpool, L3 2AJ
Week Long Course Dates: 27 June to1 July; 18 to 22 July; 8 to 12 Aug; 5 to 9 Sept
Time: 9.00am - 5.00pm

An intensive day of workshops designed to improve your opportunities in a competitive graduate labour market. The Get That Job Day consists of four workshops:

  • creative job hunting
  • selling yourself on paper
  • preparing for interviews
  • succeeding at assessment centres

Location: Graduate Development Centre, Hatton Garden, Liverpool, L3 2AJ
Dates: 7 July, 27 July, 2 August, 18 August, 22 August (check the 
GAP website for more dates in September and October)
Time: 9.00am - 4.30pm

Eligibility criteria (for GAP or Get that Job Day): open to unemployed recent graduates (from any university) who are resident in Merseyside and EU citizens
