LJMU Annual Student Nurse Conference

25 July 2011

Organised by the students themselves, the 4th Annual Student Nurse Conference is taking place on 22 September 2011 at LJMU's Art and Design Academy.

This year’s theme is 'Branching Out', and explores the wide career options available to Adult and Mental Nursing students to pursue.

There will also be a host of employers attending - from PCT Trusts and the Forces to Private Hospitals and Nursing specific recruitment agencies. This year will also introduce a new slot called Question Time, were the students are given the opportunity to ask questions to a politician, RCN Executive, GP, educationalist or a representative from the Strategic Health Authority.

This is open to all LJMU Adult and Mental Health Nursing Students and is a FREE event but with limited availability. Students will be issued certificates of attendance at the end of the conference. Any students on placement that wish to attend will be credited the hours.

To reserve a place, please email your full name, cohort and branch to Keri Spellman at k.m.spellman@ljmu.ac.uk
