LJMU Voluntary Retirement Policy
03 November 2011
Earlier in the year the University’s Strategic Management Group (SMG) took the decision to no longer operate a compulsory retirement age.
The University is committed to equal opportunities for all members of its staff, recognising the contributions of a diverse workforce, including the skills and experience of older members of staff. It believes that staff should, whenever possible, be permitted to continue to cease working at a time that suits them and their circumstances.
As a consequence the University now operates a voluntary retirement policy which can be found on the Human Resources pages here
