Validation and review for collaborative programmes

There are still places available on training for panel members/chairs for collaborative provision validation and programme review events.
Date: Tuesday 10 January
Time: 9.30am to 12.30pm approx
Venue: Training room 3, 5th Floor, Kingsway House
Collaborative provision validation and programme review events may provide an opportunity to see and discuss different teaching and learning approaches and to meet staff from across the University as well as our partner institutions. Staff who wish to act as panel members or Chairs for these events will need to attend the training first. The sessions may also be of interest to members of staff who are becoming involved in collaborative activity and wish to gain a greater understanding of the approval process.
Staff who have already completed the training may find the session useful, as there will be an opportunity to discuss any issues and working practices.
The session will include:
- a brief overview of the financial and contractual context of the validation and programme review processes
- a brief overview of validation and programme review processes
- discussion around the cultural and communication aspects of collaborative events
