National Student Survey: 1st week update
30 January 2012
LJMU’s National Student Survey (NSS) has got off to a great start, following its launch on Monday 23 January.
Close to 1,000 final year students have completed the survey and the University is already outperforming the sector, with a 14% response rate compared to 8% for universities nationwide.
Level 4 and Level 5 students were also contacted last week by Mott Macdonald, an independent research agency managing the LJMU Student Survey, which mirrors the questions asked in the NSS.
Staff should continue to encourage as many students as possible to complete the NSS (and the ‘mirror survey’) as LJMU is hoping to exceed last year’s final institutional response rate of 65%.
The graph below shows the NSS and LJMU Student Survey response rate for each Faculty as of Friday 27 January 2012.
Final year students. Don’t forget if you complete the NSS online you can claim £3 print credits. Do it before 29 February 2012 and you will be automatically entered into a Prize Draw, with ten prizes of £100 available.
