Guest Lecture: Dr Bob Doherty

As part of Fairtrade Fortnight, leading UK expert on Fairtrade, Dr Bob Doherty, will be visiting Liverpool Business School to deliver a guest lecture.

Dr Doherty has been one of the country's leading advocates of Fairtrade for many years and has researched and published extensively on the impact of Fairtrade brands in the UK retail sector.

In addition to his academic research, Bob has conducted research for many organisations including DFiD and Comic Relief and was formerly head of sales and marketing at leading Fairtrade chocolate brand Divine Chocolate.

As part of Fairtrade fortnight you are invited to come along to meet and talk with representatives from Friends of the Earth, Christian Aid and Kaya responsible travel to find out what opportunities are available to you. The session also includes free Fairtrade product tasting.

During Fairtrade fortnight LJMU Coffee Shops will be selling Fairtrade Geo Bars, Cookies, Divine Chocolate, orange and apple juice and all of our coffee is Fairtrade.
