Liverpool Central Station refurbishment

Liverpool’s Central Station will close to passengers from the 23 April 2012 to undertake a £20 million refurbishment programme.

The Wirral Line platform will re-open on the 25 August 2012; Northern Line platforms will stay closed to the public until 22 October 2012.

A shuttle bus service will operate a loop service from Moorfields via Elliot Street (St John’s Market bus stop) to Lime Street (St George’s Hall bus stop). A replacement shuttle bus will take passengers from Brunswick Station to Berry Street.
