Blackboard upgrade

Blackboard, LJMU's virtual learning environment, is to receive an upgrade this summer.

As in previous years, the upgrade will require a period of downtime coinciding with Graduation Week, the period with smallest impact for general student learning.

This means that Blackboard will be unavailable to staff and students between 5.00pm Friday 6 July and 9.00am Monday 16 July.

The University apologises for any inconvenience that this downtime will cause but hopes that by letting staff and students know in advance that they can plan effectively for this temporary loss of service.
