Dr Mary Jane O'Leary

Faculty of Arts Professional and Social Studies

MJ is a Lecturer on both the Sociology and Criminology & Sociology Degree Programmes here at LJMU. She works with students on Contemporary Green and Social Issues and on various theory and methods-related modules. Her research areas include media theory, communicative capitalism and post-neoliberal discourses. She employs a variety of methodologies in her research including video ethnography and phenomenology.
