Aimee is a PhD candidate in Sport Psychology in the Brain and Behaviour research team, within the School of Sport & Exercise Science. Her PhD is titled ‘The influence of blurred visual stimuli on perceptual-cognitive skills sport’, and is being completed under the supervision of Dr James Roberts (DOS), Prof. Simon Bennett, Dr Joe Causer & Dr Edward Hope.

Aimee's research areas of interest include perceptual-cognition performance in sport - specifically, decision-making and pattern-recall - and manipulation of visual stimuli to improve such skills. This includes blurring sport-specific footage and building a virtual reality environment to present stimuli.
