2. Recognition of Prior Learning

   If you can demonstrate that you have already achieved learning equivalent to a module or modules, or a level of study, in your programme at LJMU then you may be eligible to be awarded credit for this learning or to have credit transferred from another UK institution.

5. Pre departure advice - Go abroad

   Not all of our students are experienced travellers and the Study Abroad Team are keen to support as best we can. We host a number of compulsory information sessions that students are required to attend before embarking on their experience of lifetime. 6. Women Academics Network

   The University Women Academics Network (WAN) is for all female academics at Professorial, Reader and Pre-Reader (AKA: Early Career Researcher) level.

7. Celebrating womanhood stories – Qualitative Analysis in Action

   Celebrating womanhood is an online book that highlights the work being done by inspirational women in Nepal.

8. Race Equality Charter

   Liverpool John Moores University joined the Race Equality charter in 2022 and was first presented with an Institutional Bronze Award in 2022, in recognition of ongoing work relating to race equality.

10. LGBTQI+ Flags

    In 1978 gay rights activist Gilbert Baker created the first Pride flag with the goal of it being a symbol for everyone. Since then many new flags were created to represent all communities within the LGBTQI+ community.
