   Nominations for the Vice-Chancellors Awards for Excellence in Research and Knowledge Exchange 2021 are now open.

4. Paid Discovery Internships for level 5 and 6 students

   The final round of Discovery Internships for this academic year is open for applications from second (level 5) and final year (level 6) students.

5. Admissions Policy update

   The LJMU Admissions Policy has recently undergone some minor amendments and the updated version can be found in the Policy Centre.

6. Praise for LJMU’s support of care leavers from Minister for Higher and Further Education

   LJMU deserves the highest praise for their success according to the Minister for Higher and Further Education, after it was the first of only four institutions to be awarded the National Network for the Education of Care Leavers (NNECL) Quality Mark.

7. Immersive museum performances by LJMU drama students to uncover the 'Secret Life of a Wren'

   With the Battle of the Atlantic 80th anniversary just weeks away, our drama students are collaborating once again with the Western Approaches Museum. See their immersive performance at the museum on Monday 27 March 2023.

8. Free winter flu jabs for staff

   As part of our employee wellbeing focus, we are again offering staff a voucher for a free winter flu jab.

9. Discovery Internships for level 5 and 6 students open for applications

   The second round of paid Discovery Internships this semester are open until midnight on Sunday 17 December 2023. Interviews will take place before the end of January 2024 and the internships will begin from early February 2024 (start dates may vary for each role).
