  1. Chris Burgess

    Chris was born during the Second World War and only studied at university much later in life, like many of the mature students that choose to study with LJMU. He also had a late dyslexia diagnosis, making him realise he just had a different way of thinking and learning.

  2. Transformation Change Project

    The Transformation Change Project is currently underway at Cheshire and Wirral Partnership NHS Foundation Trust, under the categories of acute, community and crisis. The aim is to complete a comprehensive evaluation of these changes, using a mixed methods approach.

  3. Nathan Maguire

    Nathan is an LJMU alumni and former sports scholar. He boasts an impressive track record as a para-athlete competing in the T54 wheelchair racing. He has multiple medals to his name and has his eyes set on the Paris 2024 Paralympic Games.

  4. John Goulding

    John is a PhD student with the School of Education. He is also ex-forces, having served with the RAF Police before leaving the military and beginning his own higher education journey. Alongside his studies, looking at research to support veterans, John is a student representative on our Armed Forces Steering Group.

  6. Dr Alan Bury

    Alan is a Senior Teaching Fellow with our School of Engineering and in 2023 was awarded the Merchant Navy Medal for Meritorious Service in recognition of his contribution to maritime education over more than two decades.
