   LJMU has received the silver award from the Ministry of Defence Employer Recognition Scheme (ERS) acknowledging how it provides support to the Armed Forces community.

7. LJMU main university in China maritime partnership

   A Memorandum of Understanding is set to strengthen a relationship between Wuhan University of Technology (WUT) and LJMU that stretches back over ten years in Maritime, covering extensive research projects and postgraduate opportunities.

8. Honorary Fellow: Ian Meadows

   Ian Meadows received an Honorary Fellowship from LJMU on Friday 28 November 2014 in recognition of his outstanding contribution to business and the civic life of the city.

9. Hats off to the Faculty of Education Health and Community

   At the first of the day's Graduation Ceremonies, education students from LJMU's Faculty of Education, Health and Community collected their certificates at Liverpool Cathedral.
