1. International student engagement and assessment policy updates

   Changes have been made to some LJMU staff policies.

2. New EDI Workshops Announced – Domestic Abuse Awareness & ‘Actions Speak Louder’ Allyship Training 

   LJMU's Equality, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) Team are proud to be working in partnership with a number of subject specialists, to deliver a range of interactive (online) staff development training opportunities, including the introduction of two brand new courses; a 2 hour Domestic Abuse Awareness Workshop and a 90min 'Actions Speak Louder' Experiential Allyship (Race) training session, as well as the return of LJMU's 3 hour Transgender Awareness Workshop (back by popular demand).

3. National Eye Health Week 18 - 24 September

   We are promoting the importance of good eye health, sharing important eye care advice to encourage adopting healthy habits and highlighting the need for regular eye tests.

4. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

   Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.

5. Technicians survey 2024 to remain open for a further fortnight

   The National Technician Development Centre (NTDC) Technicians Survey at LJMU is open for responses for a further two weeks until Friday 5 April.

6. Expressions of interest welcomed for Academic Board vacancies

   There are five vacancies available and eligible staff should send an expression of interest for the role to the Secretariat.
