   LJMU Cycling Club took part in a non-stop 24-hour ride last week, raising over £200 for the British Red Cross Ukraine Crisis Appeal.

   Liverpool John Moores University’s ambitious plans to transform a disused city centre site into state-of-the-art student facilities have been given the go-ahead. Liverpool City Council’s Planning Committee today (Tuesday 9 October) approved the plans for the former Royal Mail site on Copperas Hill.

   The Centre for Port and Maritime History is to host the event in association with the Battle of the Atlantic Memorial Trust, considering the history and legacies of the battle 80 years on.

   The Employment Committee has recently approved a new diversity and inclusion policy and guidance document, as well as amendments to an existing policy.

7. Olympic Alumna addresses Sports Scholars

   World, Commonwealth, European and Olympic medallist, Anyika Onuora recently returned to Liverpool John Moores University to talk to sports scholars, sport interns and staff from student sport societies about her experiences as an LJMU Sports Scholar.
