1. Award for pupil tackling homelessness in the city

2. Nearly £3k raised in first week of NSS

   A huge thank you to everyone who has helped us to raise a fantastic £2,950 for charity by completing the National Student Survey (NSS) in the first week.

3. Coffee and Croissant, Breakfast and Networking

   Research and Innovation Services (RIS) will be holding an informal networking breakfast event, Coffee and Croissant, at Byrom Street, MTC Social Zone on Thursday 4th April from 8.15am – 9.30am.

5. LJMU Lecturer Dr Robert Macdonald wins Design in Mental Health Network Award

   An LJMU Lecturer at the Liverpool School of Art and Design, Dr Robert Macdonald, has won the Design in Mental Health Network Award (DIMHN) for his contribution to local mental health services.

6. Embracing innovation and emerging technologies in the housebuilding sector

   We are demanding more from housing than ever before. Not only should it provide shelter and comfort for inhabitants, but it should also embrace technological advances, contribute positively to energy efficiency, reduce carbon emissions, and support the development of sustainable communities.

   As part of the Students at the Heart conference, LJMU organised a special Bicentenary celebration room to highlight 200 years of LJMU and celebrate our history.
