  1. FTDP scholarship funding

    Each scholarship funding is for three years of a full-time PhD degree programme, and includes tuition fees, a tax-free maintenance stipend of around £18,622 per annum (rising in line with URKI rates) and additional research costs of up to £1,600 per year.

    This website provides information on the project, findings which emerge from the project as and when they become available, and allows you to contact the project team if you have any further questions.

  3. Support for final year students 

    As the end of your undergraduate journey approaches, it is important to consider your next steps. Some students may have a job offer in-hand, others may have ideas in mind but have not yet started to apply for jobs.

  4. LJMU Funded internships and work-based learning

    Find out how you could secure an LJMU-funded internship with a local organisation, working on a suitable graduate-level project. Internships are available to Level 5 and 6 LJMU students and graduates from the most recent graduating class.

  5. Book a one-to one careers meeting

    Find out how you can book an appointment with our Careers Team advisers to discuss your options. You can take a mock interview, get your personal statement, application forms and CV checked, get interview advice and search for graduate jobs, internships, part-time jobs and work experience.

  6. Student Futures Internships Programme

    In 2023 Student Futures ran a Green Internship Project with three LJMU students. Their assignment was to explore the area of Green Careers and Skills in more depth.

  7. Self-employment

    Self-employment can be well suited to disabled or neurodivergent students and graduates, if you find it difficult to keep up with traditional work.
