1. Technician Development - HEaTED relocates to a New Home in 2020

   New partnership between the NTDC and HEaTED. LJMU subscribes to HEaTED and promotes related opportunities and support for our technical staff.

   RIBA has awarded funding to LJMU's School of Art and Design for innovative research into building design for sufferers of dementia.

3. Join the Pride March on Saturday 27 July

   LCR Pride takes place on Saturday 27 July and we will be taking part in the Pride March on Saturday afternoon.

4. New way to request visitor parking and out of hours or security access

   Campus Support (Security) now has a number of staff request forms available via the LJMU HelpMe portal, to help with the management of requests.

5. New facilities now open at Avril Robarts Library

   Two newly-refurbished floors of Avril Robarts Library are now open!

6. Academic Registry invigilation training

   Training sessions will be held via Microsoft Teams throughout April and will cover the main aspects of the role of invigilators, including responsibilities prior to, during and following the completion of the examination.

7. Four apps new students should download now

   My LJMU, Canvas, Outlook and the Microsoft Authenticator apps are essential for all new students.

8. Getting it Right: Name pronunciation

   As part of our LJMU Equality’s ‘Getting it Right’ campaign, the team is highlighting the importance of pronouncing the names of different students and staff right.

9. Update: P60s now available on Staff Infobase

   P60s for the tax year 2021-22 (ending 5 April 2022) are now available on Staff InfoBase

10. New website enhancements

    From today, you will see changes to the main megamenu navigation bar and footer at the top and bottom of each webpage and the main banner image on the homepage.
