1. Academic Framework Regulations updates for new academic year

   Two policies have been updated, one for undergraduate and one for postgraduate programmes.

   The university has updated the Long Service Awards scheme to include celebration of reaching additional key milestones at 25, 35, 45 and 50+ years’ service.

4. Immersive Storytelling Experiences explored at Liverpool Screen School Symposium

   On December 14, Liverpool Screen School welcomed over 200 guests from industry and academia and over 30 speakers, including demonstrations, to discuss how immersive technology was impacting on storytelling.

5. Bid to stop stigma of menstruation in Nepal

   LJMU researchers have secured a £300,000 grant from the British Academy to tackle the stigma faced by Nepalese women during menstruation.

6. Exhibition for 'forgotten' Liverpool artist

   The Wrong Sex: Franchon Fröhlich will show at the Exhibition Research Lab, John Lennon Art and Design Building from February 17 to May, 2023.

7. Tithebarn Street roadworks (from 3 June 2019)

   Please be aware that major roadworks will begin on Tithebarn Street on Monday 3 June.

8. City ambassadors at LJMU gain recognition for £775k economic impact of academic conferences

   Four academics have been recognised by Club Liverpool for their roles in bringing education and research conferences to the city in 2023.
