2. Menopause cafes to take place in person throughout 2023

   To keep conversations moving forward around the menopause, dates in January, April, July and October 2023 have been set for the next four menopause cafes.

3. Paramedic students take on The Paramedic Games 2023

   Paramedic Science students from across LJMU have taken part in a two-day event which saw students, from first, second and third year, compete in eight high fidelity scenarios around the John Foster Building.

4. Pupils take part in Great Debate heat at LJMU

   LJMU hosted a heat of the Historical Association’s Great Debate 2024 public speaking competition, welcoming four schools on to campus.

5. Law Students Take Part in Mock Employment Tribunal Event

   As part of LJMU's School of Law ethos to provide students with career-shaping opportunities, students recently participated in a mock employment tribunal at Liverpool Town Hall. The event allowed students to experience the inner workings of an Employment Tribunal and observe the skills and knowledge needed as they progress towards their careers in the legal sector. The students were able to experience a simulated trial thanks to the teams at Brabners, 9 St John Street Chambers and Adaptable Recruitment.

6. Annual survey and audit of teaching space to take place this October

   The annual survey and audit of teaching space will take place across the university between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 23 to Friday 27 October 2023.

7. Take a quick survey to raise money for a local charity!

   The National Student Survey (NSS) launches this week for final year undergraduates. If you’re a final year student, you can help LJMU raise money for a local charity simply by taking a short survey.

8. Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions take LJMU to Northern Ireland

   Academics, professional service staff and students travelled to Belfast for a recent university applicant day.

9. Student Recruitment, Marketing and Admissions take LJMU to Northern Ireland

   The university sent more than sixty staff and students to Belfast welcoming more than 700 visitors to two applicant events.

10. Annual survey and audit of teaching space to take place this February

    The survey will be conducted between the hours of 9am and 5pm from Monday 5 to Friday 9 February 2024.
