   All Academic staff have until 5pm on Monday 19 June to vote for their preferred Academic Staff Governor candidate.

3. Staff car parking update August 2023

   The university will continue to subsidise staff car parking until 31 August 2024.

   An opt-in period is now open for a staff dental plan.

5. Academic Staff Governor Elections

   Following the call for nominations, eight candidates are standing for election, with the election period opening on Monday 5 June and running until Monday 19 June.

6. New Staff Gardening Group

   The School of Biological & Environmental Sciences has been working on a project to improve Byrom Street Campus with 10 urban wildlife gardens.

7. Professional Services Staff Governor Elections

   Five candidates have put themselves forwards for the position and voting will take place between Monday 13 and 27 March.

   All Professional Services staff have until 5pm on Monday 27 March to vote for their preferred Staff Governor candidate.

9. Olympus partnership to train more professionals in cancer screening

   Liverpool John Moores University is set to train more people in diagnosing cancer thanks to a partnership with global optics firm Olympus.

10. LJMU funded bootcamp programme for staff

    We are funding 16 staff places on a new bootcamp programme which will see you complete ’24 in 24’ – that’s 24 sessions in 2024.
