    LJMU is a member of NCUK (Northern Consortium of UK universities). International students who successfully complete an NCUK programme are guaranteed a place at one of the 11 consortium universities.   2. Electrical and Electronic Research Engineering services

    The Electrical and Electronic Engineering Research Centre offer a variety of services to businesses and organisations, including testing and qualification of microelectronic and power devices, simulation and modelling of electric machines, as well as variable-speed drives and power electronic converters.

  3. Electric Machines and Drives Group

    The Electric Machines and Drives Research Group conducts research into: variable-speed electric drive systems, electrical power generation plants for renewable energy sources and power electronic converters for interfacing the variable-speed drives and generators.

  4. School of Humanities and Social Science

  5. Fadi Alnaef

    Fadi is a 2023 graduate from the maritime business and management programme. He came to the UK as a refugee, having fled his home in Damascus, Syria, and gaining his initial qualifications in Greece. He used his dissertation research to highlight the challenges facing the shipping sector and their obligations under international law to help vessels in distress, including refugee and migrant boat crossings.

  6. Victory Onephrojire

    International student Victory followed in her sisters' footsteps to leave Nigeria and to study in the UK. Choosing Liverpool as it was a vibrant and buzzing city, she has not only settled into life in the UK but also helped other fellow international students to do the same, by acting as a student mentor while undertaking master’s study in business and management.
