   An international team of astrophysicists have uncovered an enormous bubble current being ‘blown’ by the regular eruptions from a binary star system within the Andromeda Galaxy.

   Professor Nate Bastian, Head of Research at the Astrophysics Research Institute and Royal Society University Research Fellow, has been awarded a European Research Council (ERC) Consolidator grant.

10. degree apprenticeships

    LJMU is set to expand its successful degree apprenticeship programmes after being awarded significant new funding. The university has received £1m from the Office for Students’ national fund to support level 6 degree apprenticeships.
