1. Students at the Heart Conference 2024: submissions now open

   Submissions are now open for the Students at the Heart Conference and the theme for 2024 will be ‘community.’

2. Academic Board election voting now open

   Staff have until 5pm on Thursday 14 September to vote for their preferred Academic Board candidates.

3. Applications now open for Advance HE Aurora programme 2025

   Apply by 5pm on Friday 8 November 2024.

4. Building opening times and support over the winter break

5. Technicians survey 2024 to remain open for a further fortnight

   The National Technician Development Centre (NTDC) Technicians Survey at LJMU is open for responses for a further two weeks until Friday 5 April.

6. Discovery Internships for L5 and 6 students – open for applications now!

   Get some paid work experience at a local business working a real-life project that you can really get stuck into

7. Advance HE Aurora Programme 202223 applications open

   Applications are now being taken from LJMU staff for the Advance HE Aurora Programme

8. Registration open for conference on decolonial approaches to teaching and research

   A mini-conference highlighting developments in decolonial approaches to teaching and research across the university featuring three sessions of talks and discussion on decolonising pedagogy, assessment and research methods, will take place in November.

9. Future Fortnight: 28 February to 11 March – open to all students

   Join the Student Futures team for a series of events helping you think about your future goals. The sessions are friendly, open to students from any programme or year group and will help you gain clarity on your next steps.

10. Registration for the Students at the Heart Conference 2023 is now open

    This year’s Students at the Heart Conference will take place on Wednesday 7 and Thursday 8 June and you can now register for sessions and workshops.
