  3. Dr Scott Foster

    Scott is the PhD programme leader with responsibility for the doctoral students in our business school. Having followed a path into the miliary at just 16, gaining only one GCSE, Scott came to study for a degree at LJMU later in life, eventually gaining a PhD before becoming a member of staff and now inspiring others to follow in his footsteps.

  4. Valeria Carini

    Valeria completed her PhD in antimicrobial resistance with LJMU having fallen in love with the city during her Erasmus project. She became one of only five winners of the inaugural Pandemic Institute Student Excellence Awards 2022.

  5. Elysia Greenway

    Elysia is a PhD researcher with LJMU’s internationally renowned Face Lab, a research group focusing on facial depiction and representation, at the interface of art and science.

  6. Materials development and processing

    MEMARC's members conduct research into materials development, as well as biological systems and sports engineering. Learn more about this research, the researchers who work in this area and the materials development and processing projects members have completed.

  7. Cluster for Research into Coaching Symposium

    With generous support from our School of Sport and Exercise Sciences, the Cluster for Research in Sport Coaching (CRiC) will meet for a coaching research symposium on Monday 12 June.
