1. Next phase of CourseLoop set to go live

   The second phase of LJMU’s new curriculum management system is poised to go live and there will be temporary changes in how staff update their course information.

2. Introducing eco-friendly search engine Ecosia

   In support of JMSUs Sustainability Week taking place from next Monday, 3 February, the university will be trialling a new eco-friendly default internet search engine.

3. Milestone for National Schools' Observatory

   Secondary school pupils in Swindon, studying a supernova which exploded almost a 1,000 years ago, have entered the history books by requesting the 100,000th image from the National Schools’ Observatory (NSO).

4. New library services website launched

   The LJMU Library website has had a major refresh over summer and has launched this week ready for the new academic year.

5. Continuous Monitoring and Enhancement updates on WebHub

   New and improved Continuous Monitoring and Enhancement (CME) for Module Leaders is now available on Webhub.

6. Mental health lecturer launches website to help medical professionals support asylum seekers and refugees

   A new online resource hub to help health care professionals signpost refugees and asylum seekers to support services has been created by a senior lecturer in mental health at LJMU.

   Liverpool John Moores University has ranked #3 in Course Quality in the Uni Compare 2023 Rankings and is now in 4th place overall in the Uni Compare Top 100 Universities rankings.
